Webcam driver for Sony VGN-SZ3VWP
I've worked out some updates to the r5u870 driver so that it works with
the Linux 2.6.27.9 kernel (as I knew openSUSE 11.1 was going to have a
2.6.27 based kernel), I talked to Alex Hixon via email about my changes
(it turns out he had some of the fixes in the svn version already, so
I've just added a few more changes on top of that), and hopefully Alex
will do a formal update shortly.
Just in case anyone wants it in the mean time I've put a bzip2 which
includes my changes here.
If you want to get pre-built modules for openSUSE 11.1 then get the modules r5u870.ko and usbcam.ko and drop them into /lib/modules/2.6.27.7-9-pae/extra/ and /lib/modules/2.6.27.7-9-pae/extra/usbcam/ respectively. Then depmod
-a.
